For the first time in 14 years Nokia has been taken over by Samsung as the World’s leading Mobile Phone Brand! And has opened up a growing lead on Apple in the smart phone market.
Samsung’s market share is expected to be 29% of all mobile phone shipments worldwide, with Nokia slipping to 24%.
The other big gain is smartphone sales in general with IHS reporting that smart phones are expected to grow to 56% of the world wide phone market in 2013. When you consider just the smart phone market, Samsung has a 28% market share and Apple has a 20% market share.
These stats all make sense when you consider that Android handsets are now outselling Apple handsets in Australia for the first time. Retailers have been quick to sell iPhone accessories but are they stocking enough Android accessories for the fasting growing accessory market?Click Here for our range, do yourself a favour and market Android accessories alongside your iPhone accessories.

Recent Law changes in NSW have seen demand for Universal Car Mounts sky rocket. The basis of these new rules are:

For a few months now we have been toying with the idea of changing our USB Flash Drives and Memory Cards.
Memory is a highly consumable product, be it for presentations, storing photo albums, music and video collections or even applications for smart phones, pretty much 90% of consumers need some form of flash memory or memory card.
What we have been looking for in a Memory brand is:
- Quality Build
- Quality Packaging
- Fast Speed to keep up with today's cameras
- Strong Brand Recognition
- Affordable Retail Pricing
- High Retailer Margin
The one brand that ticked all these boxes is SanDisk. SanDisk is the worlds largest supplier of Flash Memory. Their products are highly recognisable, meaning consumers will know they are buying a quality product and with our4GB Flash Drives, Micro SD and Memory Cards starting @ $9.95 RRP they are well priced for the "Route" channel.
For a film series that first came out in 1977, The Star Wars franchise sure has some legs and some even bigger fans.
I for one went to a party dressed in drag as Princess Leia back in the day, now that was a party…
With six movies in the series, books, merchandise and dozens of games already, you would be forgiven for thinking it’s popularity would surely be coming to an end now.
You may be forgiven, but you would also be wrong.
9th November marks the date for the Australian release of the latest tie-up with this epic space opera franchise and the latest game crazy Angry Birds.
Launched in December 2010 Angry Birds was an instant success with 50 million downloads before its first anniversary in December 2011.
Currently the Angry Birds franchise has three games in the iTunes top 25 Paid Apps, 1. Bad Piggies HD, 9. Angry Birds Space HD and 25. Angry Birds HD.
For many Gen Y males it's a constant concern of where do they put their wallets in those ever shrinking skinny leg jeans?
Especially when every store these days, seems to have their own loyalty card and credit cards are handed out like sweets by banks.
Optus, Samsung, Westpac and Mastercard have teamed up in a world first, to trial a solution to this troublesome first world problem. By using smartphones for tap and go payments.
With research suggesting Gen Y would rather leave their wallet at home than forget their phone, this new technology makes sense.
Click Here for details on how these mobile payments will work.
However trending suggests there is still a lot of growth in this category. (See graph below)
Personally I love tablets, they don’t replace a laptop but I do use my iPad a lot. My local blockbuster closed down a few months back so I now download movies on iTunes and even TV shows that I may have missed due to travel or programming clashes.
I watch these programmes and read the SMH on my iPad during flights, which makes travel time much more enjoyable now. I also use it for social media, doing my online banking, playing games, making my footy tips and I have even used it to create my family tree with the ancestry.com app.
But the thing that I hate most is using my tablet to type on. When you start to type the keyboard takes up half the screen which makes long emails frustrating when you need to spell check as much as I do.
However we have a few new solution to this problem in stock. Firstly we have the Laser Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard @ $59.95 RRP, it is compatible with computers, tablets, smartphones and even PS3. It also has an integrated touchpad, multimedia shortcut keys and is portable and lightweight.
We also have the Blue Tooth Qwerty Keyboard @ $49.95 which is a waterproof, dustproof and washable Mini Bluetooth Flexible Silicone Keyboard, that is the perfect portable companion for your Smartphone, iPad or Android Tablet! Made from flexible and lightweight silicone, you can simply roll it up the mini keyboard and take it with you wherever you go!
It’s Footy season time again and the “Man Chair” is primed and ready to go. Be it AFL, NRL, A League or my favourite Super 15, most warm blooded males have a favourite team they support.
Growing up in rural New Zealand, sports was an integral part of my upbringing and coming from a family that was littered with both provincial and national representatives there was always a desire to excel. My time has passed on those sporting dreams and aspirations, but my love of the game hasn’t. Over the last few years I have now joined the ranks of the “arm chair critics”.
We are the people who yell at the T.V, swear black and blue that we could have scored that try, kicked that goal or coached that team to a premiership.
Monday morning finds many of you small businesses owners, listening to your customers “arm chair critics” rattle on about the footy as they pick up their daily paper, fill up their car or grab a bite to eat. This is the perfect time to upsell a couple of true man gifts.
For many a man sport is our religion and with most religions there is always a little bit of alcohol involved. This traditionally isn’t red wine like you would find in a church, but a cold bottle of beer.
Our newest product theOpena iPhone 4/S case is in my words “Pure Genius”. It's an iPhone 4/S case with a slide out bottle opener, I have tested this out over a few cold ones myself and it is an awesome invention, @ $39.95 RRP with 50% margin there is also some great profit in such a small item.
